HOT NEWS: 8/25/2015 Vemma was served with a complaint The complaint is under seal. Why? Is the FTC running a covert operation so they don’t get harassed by the public including Vemma members????? What caused it?
Bad publicity: NEW YORK POSTING ABOUT VEMMA FOR ONE
Note: over 170 complaints to FTC some of which could have been done by people hating Vemma or competitors (wanting to steal downlines?)
The FTC reportedly has an issues surrounding pack sales (anything approaching $500 is a red flag) and you can bet complaints about this are what attracted the FTC. I would say that Vemma did not have a hard and FAST return policy or didn’t KEEP it in HARD FAST action(I know I called BK with a complaint he said he would fix it....DIDN'T HAPPEN. That would also apply to auto-ships also in tune with how many CUSTOMERS (people who do not belong the compensation pay plan) VEMMA had on Autoship. The magic wand for keeping the FTC at bay is CUSTOMERS!
FDA REPORT NO HELP TO VEMMA & FEDS TALK TO EACH OTHER
The FDA cited Vemma after a November 2012 inspection of what was its Scottsdale headquarters (the company has since moved to Tempe) for not having a system in place to conduct investigations into customer complaints or pursue follow-up action. “Conducting a review and investigation is critical to the health and safety of the consumers,’’ the report stated. Complaints from consumers ranged from allergic reactions to the product to gastrointestinal problems after drinking the beverages. The company responded to the FDA report in December 2012 saying it had provided the FDA inspector with the customer complaint procedures it uses. (Adverse events reported to the FDA by consumers taking Verve and Vemma products can be found. This report looks ok.
